 This talented Warmblood mare is an exciting find for a rider looking for a competitive, fun, and motivated horse with all the right qualities for the jumper ring. She confidently stepped back into the show ring this summer after enjoying a couple of slower years while her junior rider was busy with other interests.

Kricket is uncomplicated in the warm-up ring and to hack around the grounds. She's easy and fun to get around the ring - brave and will jump what’s in front of her, not fussy about any type of distance, has jumped naturals and derby obstacles, has auto changes. Recently free-jumped 1.25 m with ease, showing the scope and talent to continue moving up the levels.

This mare has good temperament, is easy to handle, bathe, haul, and stands well for the farrier. An easy keeper, she maintains good condition on just hay and a simple diet. She is current on vaccinations, deworming, dental, and farrier care, and is ready to continue her career with her next rider. This is a mare with tremendous potential for someone looking to show a talented, and honest jumper or for a motivated junior who’s outgrown a pony. 

Kricket has the width and barrel to comfortably carry a variety of riders, though we feel that she is best suited to a petite or average rider due to her height - just over 15.2 hh. She does have plenty of depth to take up leg (rider in video is 5'6).

Her sire, Carthago Sun I is a showjumping stallion recognized for his athleticism, scope, and good temperament. He is a popular choice among breeders, passing on traits to create modern and consistent showjumpers.
